Replacement screen for AIO OptiPlex 9010
Why is it so difficult to find a screen replacement for a Dell AIO!
I have a AIO Dell OptiPlex 9010
A chat rep stated they were out of stock, but I could search online for other sellers or providers using the part number: V27GC
Well, try searching Google for V27GC, and see what useless results you find. I asked her to confirm the part number, and she said that is the correct one based on my Service Tag.
What's funny is most of the searches I did prior to asking Dell came back with part number: WVF3T, which had many decent results, but they all were out of stock.
Also, the WVF3T include the entire bezel, where I really just need to replace the LCD. But unless I remove the LED from the AIO, how do I know exactly what model LCD screen I need? Is it a M230HGE-L20? If so, I could order it now off eBay.
As for the V27GC, I have no idea if it contains the entire bezel or not since I couldn't find any useful results to compare.

All in ones are more complicated than laptops since the screen is part of the actual computer, not just a screen. Check out the service manual to see how the screen replacement requires dismantling the laptop. It's not for the faint of heart. That screen is out of stock everywhere including Parts People. Any screen you find will be someone's cast off.
That model is 8 yrs old now. Consider buying a new computer instead of spending anything on it. Like laptops, All in Ones don't last as long as desktops with removable, changeable parts.
