Your post mentions "tower desktop."  Just clarify, MT & DT are 2 different sizes (image below).  I'm guessing you have the DT if you're using an LP GT 1030.

Also, you got 2 good answers by redxps630 (in your duplicate thread) and speedstep.  It's possible you have a defective card.  Is it new?
