Minimum connections needed to power R7415 motherboard?
I have a R7415 motherboard with EPYC processor and a little RAM. I have a non-redundant power supply. I have an empty chassis. I have connect 3 power connectors from the power supply to the motherboard via
System power connector 1
System power connector 2
System power connector 3
I have also connected the right ear cable to the Right control panel connector on the motherboard.
I don't have a left ear to connect to the Left control panel connector.
Nothing happens when I press the power switch on the right ear. There are lights on the motherboard (some flashing).
Any ideas?

Hi, I would take the server to a minimum to POST configuration.
Minimum to POST for the R7515:
Minimum configuration to POST
The components mentioned below are the minimum configuration to POST:
· One processor (CPU) in socket CPU
· One memory module (DIMM) in socket A1
· One power supply unit
· Right control panel and cable (for power button functionality)
· System board
· PDB/PIB and cable
· One power supply unit

thanks. I don't have a Power Interposer because I'm using a non-hotswap power supply that has cables that plug directly into the motherboard. There are some green led's on the mother board that are flashing but I cannot find and docs as to their meaning.

Hello,
if in a minimum to post configuration the server doesn't post, then the issue is probably motherboard or CPU.
Can you change the DIMM module in A1 with another one, just to exclude a DIMM problem?
Thanks
