Cant Install the Windows 2012 R2 On my New Dell PowerEdge T110 II
When I try to start installing windows via "unified server configurator" by pressing F10 when booting up. but its CD says use use Lifecycle controller to install operating system , this is very confusing..
I tried installing via unified server configurator, but it does not accept the provided cd as the driver cd.
It says , catalog file not found.
Plz let me know how to install windows 2012 r2 in to this machine.
Thx

You can't use USC/LCC to install 2012 R2 unless you update it to know what 2012 R2 is.
Just boot to the Windows DVD to install - skip USC/LCC - then load the few remaining drivers after the install. If you have an H200 RAID controller, be sure to configure RAID before installing the OS.
Also, to run 2012 R2 on the T110 II, you CANNOT use either the S100 onboard RAID controller (must be changed to SATA/AHCI mode) or the S300 software RAID controller.
