PowerEdge R710 fan speed

Hi.

We have 2 PowerEdge R710 running ESX 6.5 (latest version with latest patches). Lately we've been trying to update the RAM in one of them. We found out that one slot doesn't seem to work properly.

Ever since we did that every time we power up this server, one of its fans runs at full speed. We tried to swap the fan, same thing, fan #1 runs at full speed.

I tried searching for someone who had the same problem but can't find anything related to only 1 fan running at full speed.

The BIOS and firmwares are up to date.
