PowerEdge T100 and Xeon X3320
Is the Xeon X3320 (Yorkfield, 6M Cache, 2.50 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB, LGA775, 95W) supported by the PET100? I want to upgrade the CPU and my options ($) are the E3110 or the X3320.
And about the C2Duo E8400, the C2Quad Q8400 or the C2Quad Q9400? If I can upgrade to one of them (less expensive) I can invest on another RAM stick...

The E3110 ( part DW472 for the processor alone or part P694D for the service kit) is the only processor you had listed that is currently showing as supported in the T100. None of the C2 Duos are showing, nor is the X3320, there is an X3220 and an X3330 though.

I can confirm that the E8400 works in the Poweredge T100.
The performance is identical to the E3110 and it's available for under $20.

Thanks for your time Chris.
I'll focus on the X3220. But it can be 'tricky' as Intel show them at 105W. I saw they transitioned it to the G-0 stepping, with lower TDP (~95W). As they are out of production, my only option is to go aftermarket. Is there a way to identify the ones at the G-0 stepping? I found one with a core of 1.35V. Is this it?
As a last resort I can go with the E3110....

Can you (or someone) confirm if the E3110 SLAPM stepping C0 is validated for the PET100? I can't find the SLB9C. Thanks.
