12gbps disk on 6gbps PERC H700 controller
Hello,
I have a 600gb SAS 15k disks (Product ID:ST3600057SS / 3.5 / 6.00 Gbps) in server.
after damage I had to replace one, I got a new hard drive model "Exos 15e900" ST600Mp0035 15 Gbps 12bgps.
But the server does not identify it, Is this hard drive compatible with this server and controller ?
Bellow is detailed information about server:
Server: PowerEdge R410
Controller Information PERC H700 Adapter
Firmware Version 12.10.7-0001 / Driver Version 4.31.01.64
BIOS
Version 1.14.0 Release Date 05/30/2018

It is going to be an issue of the drive not being compatible with the server, or the controller.
