Add new disk on a existing Raid 1 Ubuntu Server Dell R440
Hi all,
I have a Raid 1 configuration on the first two drives, where the OS and most of the information is stored. Recently I need more space, so I decide to add a new drive on slot 3.
But I cannot see it on the Ubuntu terminal.
I'm I doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance

Just adding a drive will not show it on operating system. you need to create a virtual disk on the controller to ensure it is exposed to the host. As you have only one drive you might need to create a RAID 0 with that drive and try. Which storage controller did you have on the server?
If you have a supported controller you can also try enhanced HAB mode where unconfigured drives will be exposed to the host. You can refer below link for more details on this feature
