Alternative RAID Controller to H730
Is there an alternative to the H730 RAID Controller (or any of the PERC cards) that support expanding RAID 10 arrays? I'm a little surprised that none of the PERC cards support this yet. Maybe something direct from LSI?
Along those lines as well, would any alternatives support importing a configuration from a PERC card? Just looking for some solution to expanding RAID 10 arrays that doesn't involve wiping and rebuilding.

I don't use any LSI branded controllers, but that restriction is common on all models I have looked at.
The problem with using a non-LSI controller that does support expanding RAID 10 is that it probably won't recognize the virtual disk at all.

So is it a LSI based issue or a Dell firmware issue? None of the LSI cards support expanding RAID 10, 50, or 60 arrays?

It's possible that they have some models that can, and software RAID controllers probably can, but none of the hardware RAID controllers I have looked at were capable (again, I'm not claiming to have searched the issue exhaustively).
