BOSS controller server install?

Hi all.. i know this may sound a tad simple. but moving over to dell from another system. We  haev a BOSS S-1 controller. i also purchsed 2 460GB SSD which i was planning on installing the OS on. so i guess my question is ...  would should i install the OS on the BOSS Raid or install on the Raid 1 SSDs which i purchsed.

ive never dealt with a BOSS controler before so little unsure if  this would be its primary purpose or not... sorry if the question sounds simple.
