BackPlane "das29rtb4b0" throughput (CS24-SC)
I am trying to figure out if the Backplane "das29rtb4b0" would be able to support SATA III Speeds as I want to add a raid controller to my server.
Any help or information would be appreciated!
EDIT:
The Blackplane is able to handle SATA III Speeds.
Tested with LSI SAS1064E Raid Controller and 2 Crucial SSDs (in Raid 1).
I forgot exact numbers, but they were in range of the rated Read/Write Speeds for the SSDs.

Yes, Sorry it is one of the older unsupported CS24-SC. I was trying to figure out if the backplane itself though would be able to get anywhere close to SATA III throughput speeds not the integrated raid card (LSI SAS1064E "3Gb/s SAS"), but via a PCI Express one.

It looks like it's one of the rebranded dell cloud servers. Just given the age of those machines I can pretty certainly say it won't support SATA III.

Because it is not a "Dell" server model, there are no specs to say for sure, but I agree that it is highly unlikely to be SATA III.
