I think I've found it. I have to confess it was not an easy task.. but I found Dell Part Number # 42Y6C. Description says: ASSY,CBL,PWR,BKPLN,2S+4HD,R620 - BP Power cable for 2+4HDD (from M/B to BP)
Sounds good to me. What do you think? Please, let us know if you need any more help.
I asked in a chat with Dell support and they told me that those part numbers don't exist, is it true? Probably that's the reason nobody responded here.
I apologize for you not having a response in the forum. Well, first of all, I can confirm you the part number NJW0R is the backplane. Part description says: 4X/2X, SAS/PCIe, HDD/SSD, ASSY Backplane
Now, there is a cable called ASSY,CBL,PWR,BKPLN,4/8,HD,R620 (ASSY Power Cable Backplane to Motherboard). The part number is 123W8. That should make it for the power cable.
The other part number: 94T5N is the ASSY,CBL,I2C,MB,BKPLN,4/8,R620 (ASSY I2C Cable (from Motherboard to Backplane) and seems the control cable you mentioned.
Thank you @DiegoLopez , but there are two issues regarding the part numbers you provided.
Both part numbers are those I have already plugged in my current 4X backplane 0PMHHG and they are not compatible with the backplane NJW0R. Even your description suggests that it's only suitable for 4X and 8X BPs:
NJW0R requires two control cables and when I attach 94T5N cable to it the server enters faulty state and doesn't power on (even iDRAC doesn't), so it's not the appropriate cable for NJW0R. However, I was asking some sellers on eBay and one provided me this part number - W98C3 - which is a bundle of 2 control cables for NJW0R, can you please confirm if this part number is correct?
The power cable 123W8 is too short because its plug location on the backplane is different and the cable length is simply insufficient for NJW0R, please see the image that shows two backplanes from the working perspective, as well as the cable 123W8:
Would be great if you could confirm the information on W98C3 and rectify on the power cable.
Sorry for the error. I provided you the wrong part numbers. I've looking a little bit further and I saw two options.
It looks like it only has unique PERC and signal cables. There doesn’t appear to be any other power cable option.
0HHYJ - ASSY,CBL,MINI PERC,2S+4HD,R620 - H310,H710(p) mini card to 4HDD bkpln for 4HDD+2PCIE SSD config (from Mini PERC to BP)
GT5RT - ASSY,CBL,SSD,SGNL,2S+4HD,R620 - PCIe SSD cable for 4+2 configuration (from PCIe card to SSD BP)
Answering your question W98C3 is ASSY,CBL,I2C,BKPLN,2S+4HD,R620 - I2C cable for 2S+4HDD (from M/B to BP)
The problem is that not all kits are sold for some backplane transformations. That's why is hard to find some proper part numbers. I will keep searching, if I found something else I will let you know.
Thank you @DiegoLopez and I would like to ask if you have any update regarding the power cable for this backplane? We still haven't found any relevant information on this and I hope internal Dell documentation should have something at least.
