Configure RAID on a SAS 5/i controller

Have a PE1950 with a SAS 5/i Integrated hard drive controller and trying to configure RAID on it, but do not see anything in the Bios or other utilities to enable it. Any help would be appreciated.

You can't. The SAS 5/i is a non-RAID SAS controller.

If you want to do raid on the 1950 you'll need a PERC5 or PERC6 card.

Thx, I guess need to buy a PERC6/i Integrated SAS RAID Controller Card Dell Part# : 341-5942 to make it work.

Yes, but you will use it in NON-RAID mode.  You cannot switch from non-RAID to RAID - they are neither compatible nor interchangeable.  If you want RAID, you need to backup your data, replace SAS 5/i with SAS 5/iR, configure RAID, then restore data.
