DELL PowerEdge 2900 all HDD LED power indicators not working.
Hi,
After updating Dell BMC Firmware, v.2.50 for DELL 2900 all HDD power led indicators on caddy's stop working.
LED activity indicators working fine.
Also option Blink HDD become is inactive in RAID bios and disappear from Openmanage.
The story is:
First time Dell BMC Firmware, v.2.50 failed to update and server become unstable i reboot the server and update BMC one more time. Second time update was successful.
Server logs does not show anything critical.
I use standard not certificated SATA disks (not hot swap).
No Events found!

Jimswers.
The issue may be that the remaining hardware on the server is out of date. The BMC going current may have caused some of the other devices, that are in need of updating, to have communication issues. The best course of action would be to update the remaining devices on the server.
If you are running a windows based server then you can run this ISO from the OS and it will update a majority of your devices, and will let you know what wasn't updated.

If you're not running windows then let me know the OS and I can get you the necessary tool or updates.

I updated all firmware but the problem was internal SATA SSD disc connected to SATA A port.
I plug-in this disk in SATA B port and everything works now.
Probably after updating BMC firmware SATA A was initialized before RAID. The documentation say: "For non-RAID configurations, only the drive-activity indicator is active. The drive-status indicator is off."
