Debian 7 & PERC 100 problem with installation
HI,
I have bought this week a DELL T110 II with 2 2TB sata disk and first of all I have discovered how to create a virtualdisk with these disks.
Later, I have started DEbian install process and when I have to decide how to partition disk, I see that there are two disk insted only one.
What's the problem? Have I to install any scsi driver before?
Thank you very much!!

Hello
The S100 is a driver based chipset RAID controller. It is highly reliant on the driver to function. We have only released drivers for Windows. The S100 is designed to only work with select Windows operating systems.
You may be able to get the drives to be detected in Linux by deleting your current array and initializing the drives as non-RAID. The controller should then act as just a pass-through device and be able to use a generic SCSI device driver.
Software RAID inside the operating system will be your only RAID option with the S100 controller on any operating system that we do not have a driver for.
Thanks
