Dell PE-R710 - iSCSi Errors. Server 2008 R2 SP1

Question

HI all, I have recently configured a new Server: PowerEdge R710 - Server 2008 R2 SP1. But after connecting the server to our SAN (EMC AX4-5i) it apprears to be coming up with loads of iscsiPrt errors in the system event log, functionaly this doesnt seem to be affecting the disks presented to the server from the SAN as i get no errors in PowerPath when the errors occur, should i still be worried? The Server is connected to the SAN with two Broadcom BCM5709C NetXtreme II GigE (NDIS VBD Client) NIC's. Then installed the Navissphere Agent / Server utlitiys & Power Path. Which version of PowerPath do you have?

Hi, EMCPower.X64.signed.5.3.b311 Which host agent should we be using with this? NaviHostAgent-Win-32-x86-en_US-6.29.6.0.35-1 or UnisphereHostAgent-Win-32-x86-en_US-1.1.0.1.0366-1 Cheers

Either agent should work, but they wouldn't cause these errors, so it's kind of irrelevant.

Are you using 2 subnets?

E.g.:

SPA iSCSI port 0: 192.168.130.10

SPA iSCSI port 1: 192.168.131.10

SPB iSCSI port 0: 192.168.130.11

SPB iSCSI port 1: 192.168.131.11

anyone have any more info we are still getting these errors. I have tried to increase the Receive Buffers size to 2250 on the adapter which seems to have reduced the frequency of the errors.

Did you ever get this resolved, We are having the same problem with R710 W2k8 R2 SP1 and MD3000i. We even replaced the Switches but still having the same issue
