Driver issue: Windows Server 2008 R2 on T110 II server with PERC S300 (RAID10)
I have the Dell PowerEdge T110 II server with the PERC S300 RAID card. I've installed 4 HDDs & configured them to RAID10 in the initial setup. The motherboard does acknowledge the PCI-E Card, which in turn does acknowledge the drives.
I pop in the Windows Server 2008 R2 DVD and I boot from DVD, however when I get to the part where I have to chose a file location, it appears that there isn't a drive available. There is another option to add a driver. So I've gone to the website ( http://tinyurl.com/PercS300driver) downloaded the appropriate driver, added it to USB & when I get to that screen, I attempt to add the driver. However, it tells me "there are not signed drivers available in this folder".
Does anyone know what I might be missing?

You're using the wrong driver. The one you linked to says it is for Server 2008 x86. Since 2008 R2 is 64-bit only, there's no way it will work. Use this driver for 2008 R2 (you have to change the dropdown menu on the Drivers/Downloads site to the correct OS):
www.dell.com/.../DriverDetails
Be sure to run it first to extract it, then put the extracted contents on your CD/DVD/USB for use with the Load Driver link.

I'm missing something. I cannot extract the drivers on my computer as it is not compatible. How else can you get to the driver for installation?
