Drives for PERC H755

Question

Hi,

is there a list of part numbers of compatible 3.5" SAS HDDs for PERC-H755 (inside a PE-R550)? Ideally, I'd like to add a few 18TB 3.5" SAS drives like this that run for about $500 each, but of course HDDs need to be verified as compatible with the controller above.

While I am not able to confirm that specific drive, as I can't find any information on it internally, it does match the specs of 3 Dell drives supported on the R550 exactly (0J4R9, HKR0D, and R20GG)

I am only showing three drives with the exact specs you're lookig for, they are

0J4R9

R20GG
HKR0D

All three are 18T 3.5in 12 gbps SAS drives, supported in the R550 with an H755.

Thank you.  If I already have drive trays, is this Dell 18TB SAS HD  from a third-party vendor compatible with the PERC H755 in a PE-R550?   Thanks! -s.

Hello,

It would be best to contact Sales for what is available in your region.

They could gather your criteria such as do you have 2.5" or 3.5" drives.

I don't see a 16TB customer kit, but these are a few drives I do see for the R550:
