H800 BBU disabled Issue

I noticed after restarting one of our servers today OMSA spit the following to the console:

OMSM : Controller event log: Current capacity of the battery is below threshold
: Controller 0 (PERC H800 Adapter)

OMSM : Controller event log: BBU disabled; changing WB virtual disks to WT, For
ced WB VDs are not affected: Controller 0 (PERC H800 Adapter)

So I went to the web-based OMSA (https:// :1311 ) and sure enough the virtual disk writing policy is set to write through.  When I go to the battery Information/Configuration the status has a green check, state of ready and Predicted Capacity Status of ready (see screenshot).  I noticed I'm out of date with the H800 firmware (12.10.4-0001 vs. current 12.10.6-0001).  Before scheduling maintenance I was wondering if anyone has run into this situation or if anyone has suggestions?  Below the screenshot are excerpts from the lsi log.

Those numbers are not reporting correctly or the battery has some issue with it. It is reporting that it is fully drained. Upgrading the firmware would be the first step and possibly reseating the cable to the battery.

Thanks for the reply.  After posting I noticed those were different numbers than I saw earlier (I must have been looking at a different part of the log).  Before posting I was looking at the first occurrances in the log which is why I was confused.  I have already requested a quote for a new battery and I'm planning a maintenance window to upgrade the firmware as well.  Below are excerpts from the log.  It's confusing that the web-based OMSA doesn't indicate the battery is discharged.  For now I'm going on the assumption the battery needs to be replaced and see what happens after that.

It is odd that OMSA doesn't report the failure, but these logs are from the controller directly and are more accurate.

Just to follow up, replacing the battery fixed the issue.  Still not sure why the OMSA web interface was reporting the battery was OK even though the controller log showed the battery as dead.  I guess I'll have to rely on the controller log when debugging future issues.
