How to benchmark disk performance???

I have a PowerEdge 2900, Win2003 sp2, with raid 5 on a Perc 5/i (firmware and driver up to date) which seems to be suffering in disk performance. What do I need to use to benchmark the disk performance? Thanks!

There are many tools you can use to measure disk performance.  One such tool is IOMETER (do a internet search).  This will help you verify disk performance.  Use any tool at your own risk.  The tool may be a little unfriendly to use unless you have experience with it.
