PERC H700 E1A14 SAS Cable Error
R410 server with an existing PERC 6/i controller upgraded to PERC H700. After firmware update for H700, the drive sizes are able to be seen successfully and able to recreate the RAID and install OS. However, the error comes up on boot up and on the console: E1A14 SAS A Cable Error.
CMOS battery drain performed and the cables have been checked but unable to resolve the error.

Hello
That error appears if the cables are not properly connected. You can find information about supported controllers on our PERC page, the controller support page, or the system support page.
