PERC H800 & H810 server support
Will an H800 work in a R710 and an H810 in a 2950?
And will these controllers also work in newer generation servers.

The R710 indeed supports the H800 (pn D90PG), but the 2950 will not support an H810. That is due to it being a 11th and 12th generation controller card. The 2950 does look to support the H800 (pn 5KYFR).

The 13th gen controllers would be the H830. The earlier controllers wouldn't be compatible in the 13th generation.

Hi Chris,
I have a client with 3 servers R710, do i need to install DAS type storage, does the H810 HBA not work on this server generation? Since we can no longer acquire H800.
