Part Number for "Flex Bay Kit" ?
Hello Everyone,
I have a PE2900, and would like to add two SAS drives to the flex bays. In some posts there have been references to a "Flex Bay Kit", but I've not been able to find a part number or any such kit on the Dell site. Does this kit exist? Or do parts need to be ordered seperately? What do I need to buy to add two SAS drives to the Flex Bays?
Thanks in advance!

One more note, you'll need a PERC 5 or PERC 6 in order to use the flexbay.
I hope that helps.

You can order a service kit for the flex bay using part number 310-8208. Dell spare part sales can help you order this.

Perfect! It's got a PERC 5i controller so it sounds like we'll be in business with maximum storage.
Thank you for your help!

I was able to order 3 of these from Dell Parts!
Thank you very much!
FYI, This kit comes with:
Flex Bay (not sure the part number is but it also comes with the four mounting screws)
NC276 Assembly, Cable, Power,Bay (drive Bay),Flexible,8 PIN
JC892 Assembly, Cable,X4 SAS,1X2 BP PRIM
MC653 Assembly, Cable,X4 SAS,1X2 BP Secondary
Depending on the cables you already have, you may want to add "PC393 Assembly SAS 4x Cable" to your order.
