Grolle,

From within the Raid Controller, what is the status of the Array? Also, was the raid 1 initialized after it was created? If not then that will need to be done before you try to install.

If you download this and boot to the LifeCycle Controller (F10) then select Deploy OS, from there load  those files and proceed with the OS install.

Let me know how the install goes.

Hi,

There is no option to load any files during the OS deployment wizard.

You are offered a list of operating systems but that's it.

Fixed it!

Turned out that Windows had the correct driver for the H700 but the virtual disk was damaged.

I created a new virtual disk in the RAID controller BIOS and it worked next time.

Hello all,

I'm trying to install Windows 2012 R2 on PowerEdge R710

These posts are the most interesting ones that I found but I have some problems

1- I downloaded the "R710_Drivers-for-OS-Deployment_Application_M5VGR_WN64_7.4.0.10_A00" and boot with F10 and then "OS Deploy" cannot find a way to load the drivers

2- How can I "Turned out that Windows had the correct driver for the H700"?

I hope you will be able to help me on this problem, I know it is quite old, but thank you for your help

2012 does have the H700 drivers built in, but you MUST configure RAID first.

Just boot to the Windows installation media - don't bother with the drivers disc or installation utilities.

Hi,

Will will this solution and driver pack work on H700 @ Dell R510?

What is your specific situation? (So I don't have to read the whole thread to know what you are talking about.)
