PowerEdge 1950 PERC 5/i RAID failed

Hi!

We have 4 PowerEdge 1950 servers. Two of these servers have a problem with RAID. RAID is PERC 5/i  and two SAS disks. It shows, there is only one disk in RAID BIOS instead two. Disks works! Its are new, SAS 300 Gb. I see green lights on its. I cannot create disk volume. I tried install another disks and interchange disks. Also I tried update RAID bios. Problem reminds.

Please, what is possible to do else?

Canonier,

The controller is showing one of the drives in Foreign. What you need to do is hit CTRL-P from the screen you showed, back to the main page. Then hit F2 and then select Foreign Config. From that menu select to CLEAR FOREIGN CONFIG. After that the drive should rejoin the existing array.

Canonier,

When you are in the Raid BIOS are you looking under Virtual Disks, or Physical Disks. Hit Ctrl-N from the main page to get to the Physical Disks page. What do the drives show there?

Also, are the drives flashing green alone, or amber and green?
