If using a PERC 5/6, 2TB is the maximum physical disks size - it is a hardware limitation, and there is no way to use anything bigger than 2TB.
If using a SAS 5/6 in RAID mode, 2TB is the maximum - it is a limitation of its RAID limitation. I would never do this, but some have said that drives larger than 2TB will work on the SAS 5/6 in NON-RAID mode (left unconfigured).

2TB
Don't use cheap consumer desktop, laptop, or NAS drives. Use enterprise-class drives, or better yet, use Dell-certified enterprise drives.

Can there be multiple 2tb drives? Just a question.

Hello @utoi,
Are you referring to the same server model PE2950? What RAID model are you referring/installed?

Hello @DELL-Joey C .PE2950, assuming RAID 10 on PERC 5/i (5.0.1-0030), what is the supported max storage for a single drive? RAID 5 the same?
Thanks!

Hi @itsjoeyzeng,
The maximum size supported on a single drive on PE2950 (RAID 5&10) is 2TB.

Thank you @DELL-Joey C . Is it possible to use 3TB drives and let the server caps them at 2TB or the server would not recognize them at all?

Hi, I'm afraid you can't. The drives won't be recognized at all.
