PowerEdge 840 Chassis Intrusion Detection Disable

Currently, I have the Intrusion Detection disabled by taping the switch in.  Is there a more elegant way to disable the detection, via configuration or jumper settings?

Closing the case should do the trick, but if you want to you can disable the chassis intrusion in the bios.

Very interesting.  "The Dell™ PowerEdge™ 840 Systems Hardware Owner's Manual" states that on the "System Security Screen", the "Front-Bezel Chassis Intrusion" option is located below "Password Status" and above "Power Button".  However, on my 840, that slot on the "System Security Screen" is blacked out and inaccessible.  My BIOS version is A03.  Also, there is a 4-disk RAID system using a Perc 5i controller.  Does the presence of the Perc disable the chassis intrusion option?  Do I need to update the BIOS?
