PowerEdge R210 raid controller replaced with same raid
Hello,
I have poweredge r210 installet 2 disk 2x4 TB. But my raid is dead. I changet raid but the same model. And when i changed asked me we found a raid configuration press F for import. I imported also i see the name of disk and 2 disk, but its initializing at 88%. So my question is when finished eill be ready everything.. without loosing my data.
i also had install vmware esxi 6.7.
will be my drive ok.

What controller you have on the server.
Data lost depends on what type of Initialization happening on the virtual disk. You can refer "Initializing Virtual Disks" section on page 25 of below link for more details on this

As you imported foreign disks I assume it is "Background Initialization" and data lost should not occur.
