PowerEdge R710, Is it possible to go back with RAID Configuration?
I added 2 larger disks to the server but did not access the controller configuration, went directly to the Configuration Wizard (F10) and ended up changing the existing configuration, pointing only to the two new disks in RAID 0. The previous configuration was a RAID 1 with two others discs. If I go back to the previous setup, do I lose the informations and disk data?

Hello
The data is only stored on the disks, but the tags that define the virtual disk are stored on each disk and the controller. If you just removed the disks without deleting any data or the virtual disk then they should be detected as a foreign configuration by the controller. If you import the foreign configuration it will copy the tags from the disks to the controller and attempt to bring the virtual disk back online.
You can find out more about Foreign configurations in the PERC manual.
