PowerEdge R710 with PERC H700 Controller
- Controller event log: Battery has failed and cannot support data retention. Please replace the battery: Controller 0 (PERC H700 Integrated)
What is the part number of the battery replacement for this?
Must the server be off to replace the battery?

Sales should be able to order it by using either part # 312-0448 or A8368973.
Yes, all power cords should be disconnected when changing the battery. Detailed instructions for replacing the battery are included in the controller manual:
