PowerEdge T420 - HDD 600 GB SAS from T440 Possible ?
Hey.
Does anyone know if I can use 600 GB SAS (propably 400-AJPH) drives from
T440 on the old T420? I have some new disks left after the T440 upgrade and I would like to use them to extend the life of the old server. Old T420 has a PERC H310 Adapter.

It does appear that both the drive in that kit (part XXTRP) as well as the carrier (part KG1CH) are both showing compatible with the T440 and T420, but the kit you listed (400-AJPH) doesn't show for both, just the T440.

Thanks for the answer. I know that the single parts match. The question is, why the set has not T420 on the compatibility list? Maybe there are some differences in the firmware? Is it possible ? I`ll try with a single disk today.
