As Todd said, the BEST option is to call Dell technical support.  Anytime the controller sees a drive with a configuration that does not match the configuration AND timestamp the controller has in its memory for its current array, it marks the drive as Foreign.  There may or may not be anything wrong with the drive(s).  You only have two options with a Foreign config - you have to clear it or import it.  Import is for multiple drive failures, Clear is for single-drive failures.  Things such as bad drives and controller firmware can affect how easily this is done - and its effectiveness, so the BEST option is to call support BEFORE doing anything.  If calling support (always free in the States/Canada, regardless of warranty) is not an option, then don't "try" anything until instructed to do so by someone here :)
