Poweredge T110 ii doesn't boot after adding hardware SAS
HI,
I've just bought a new Dell PowerEdge t110 ii server which i wanted to use as a ESXi server. Because It only support software raids and I wanted a hardware raid configuration, I bought a Intel Raid Controller SAS SASWT4I. After installing the PCIe card into the dell server, the servers stops booting after loading the 2.0.5 firmware ?

Not all third-party controllers will work, and none are validated/guaranteed to work. A low-end system like the T110 II likely doesn't know how to allocate its limited resources properly for many cards. The only validated hardware RAID controller for the T110 II is the H200, although the H700 'may' work too. Third-party will be hit/miss on a trial/error basis.
