R730 and H730P + cables

I have a R730 with an integrated H330 raid controller.  I'm replacing the two ssd drives in the server with 8 larger ssd drives.  I'm leaning towards replacing the H330 raid controller and installing a H730P.  I believe the H730P is a larger card than the H330, so it would need to be a pci card, correct?  What part number should I be looking at, and what is the part number for the cable(s) should I be looking for as well?  Thanks!

Hello

You can go to our PERC page to see which controllers and versions are supported on the server.

If you are currently using the H330 mini monolithic and you replace it with the same version of the H730P then you can use the same cable. The adapter version of the controller would use different cabling.

Thanks

I am running the h330 mini mono and was wondering that exact thing: install an h730p mini mono and use existing cables.  Thanks!
