SCSI Hard drive is not recognized when installing Windows 2000 Server
I have PE 6300, I am installing windows 2000 Server but the SCSI hard disk is not seen by windows 2000.What driver do I need to down load?
the machine I have has Raid controller 2, Bios v2.7-1 [Build 3170]

Hiya,
How are you trying to install the OS ???
The easiest way to go about it is to boot from the Dell Systems Management CD's and use them to do the install, doing it this way ensures that you use the correct OEM drivers for everything.
I've done literally hundreds of server builds with these and rarely had any problems (when I do, it's usually hardware failures).

Hi,
This is the diver you need:
PERC2, 2/Si, 3/Si, 3/Di, Driver, 2000, v. 2.7.1.4944, A12
Filename: w2ka12dr.exe [211 KB]
http://support.dell.com/filelib/format.aspx?ReleaseID=R47959
Press F6 when prompted while booting to the Win2000 cdrom to load the above driver.
