Simple utility for RAID status on PowerEdge R310
Hello,
I purchased 2 PowerEdge R310 from Dell. It's my first time using Dell servers, so I'm trying to get the basic tools ready. I'm running Windows 2008 R2 SP1. I'm testing with a 2x Raid1 setup.
I installed Dell OpenManage Server Administrator, which is web based. With it I'm able to access the RAID and virtual disks, however it seems that I need to manually check the state of disks to see if there is any hardware disk failure.
What is the best way, including a downloadable software, so that I can easily see the status of the RAID either by system tray or with an email sent in case of any problem?

Good morning,
You can use IT Assistant to setup email alerts in conjunction with OpenManage. Here is a link for IT Assistant:
