The T320 won't support the use of two individual active raid controllers simultaneously. it isn't a tested configuration on that server. It is due to inherent instability as both controllers fight for priority. The recommended way to go would be to indeed separate the OS and data arrays, but to do them within the same raid controller. Now due to the limitations of a software controller I would suggest going with the H710 to handle both arrays.
