replace raid controller
Hello, I have an Dell poweredge R520 server. The server was deliver with an PERC 710 controller and as storage have 1 Dell hdd 1,5k /600 gb and 3 Dell Hdd 7,2/2 Tb. The raid controller die last month. I order a new one , and receive an UCPM-800 (perc S110) as replacement. I replace the controller, in system setup I can see the devide, the HDD is set to Raid Mode, can enter with CTRL+R in controller setting but there the physicals disk don't appear ( I have only atapi dvd-rom). Any help?

Hello
Disk migration between a PERC H710 and an S110 is not supported. The S110 is embedded into the system board. Unless you replaced the system board, you did not replace the S110. The SATA mode in the system BIOS was probably set to RAID by someone trying to troubleshoot the issue. That would enable the S110.
