2161AD KVM with PS2 Keyboard and mouse
Hello,
I have a nice new 21261AD KVM but unfortunately our 1U Monitor has a PS2 keyboard and Mouse, has anyone successfully had these working together?, I tried one type of PS2/USB converter but with no luck so I'm guessing I may need to buy a new monitor and Keyboard and Mouse.

The 2161AD KVM requires the HID connection to be USB. Another option you have is to go with the 2161DS, which has the PS/2 connection.

Dell has the dongles that I think you require, part number RF511 like this: www.velocitytechsolutions.com/dell-rf511-ps-2-to-kvm-dongle-cable
I know the dell kvm's are picky on emulating PS2, but I have had luck in the past hooking up older servers to newer KVM's with these.
