Bun a BIOS update on a Disk

I recently got a Dell PowerEdege 2900 from my *** (they got an upgrade) witch they where going to throw out. When i got home the server worked fine but I cleaned out the server including new CPU thermal past and cleaning the heat spreaders And now i have no video. I cleared the CMOS, swapped CPU sockets, and moved the ram to different slots, and that fixed nothing. So I want to try to update the BIOS on the server to see if that will fix the no video issue. But the BIOS update software is used to install the BIOS on the hardware presuming windows in installed. the server has nothing installed. So how can I burn a BIOS image on a CD/DVD?

Hello

The BIOS download page has several versions of BIOS installers. One of the installers is a DOS executable. You will need to prep a DOS bootable disc and copy the extracted files to it. The instructions should be at the bottom of the download page.

Thanks
