Can the CPU on a Poweredge 2850 be upgraded to support Hyper-V?

Just reclaimed a decent server by moving the OS onto a VM on another server.  My plan was to turn this into another Hyper-V server so I just bough 16GB of memory from Dell, wiped the machine, installed Server 2008.... then of course found out when I tried to add the Hyper-V role that the CPU doesn't support it.

I assume I can replace the CPU, but my concern is whether or not the 2850 BIOS will allow me to enable the CPU to allow Hyper-V to work.

Thanks!

This server doesn't support Core2-based processors, which are needed to have VT support.

In other words; you can't upgrade to VT-enabled processors, you'd have to upgrade to a 2950 or so.
