Creating a SATA power connector in a R520
I need to provide power to a SS3 USB card. It has a SATA power connector. How can I create a SATA power connector for my card in this server? Is there such a thing as a PCI-E or -X SATA power supply card? USB 2.0 backups are too slow. Any other options? Add-on cards?

Hello.
R520 and other Dell 12 Gen servers do not support USB 3.0 and I can not for sure advise on the accompanying power connectors.
The other option could be to connection to an external storage device like MD1200 using the HBA card
