DRAC Certificate Expired
Hi
I’m using RACADM to remotely power on dell server. Unfortunately, the RACADM commands are not accepted by the DRAC anymore, as the default Dell certificate is expired.
Have few question,
- how can we regenerate the certificate and upload it?
- how can we move Https to http?
Thank You
Manoj

Hi Manoj, Please accept my apologies for the delay. If you are still having issues, here are the options you can try.
Your DRAC firmware of 1.23 is extremely aged from 2002. Updating the Firmware will update your expired certificate. The last update is version 3.38. You most likely have to step it up from each major revision.
You can find the archive of firmware downloads here: search for "Dell Remote Access Controller - ERA and DRAC" : http://downloads.dell.com/published/pages/poweredge-xeo2650.html
Your other option is to create a CSR with OpenManage and sign it by your own CA to avoid certificate issues)
Please see the OpenManage user'ss guild on how create the CSR here: http://bit.ly/14EMiJu
If you need the latest compatible OMSA 5.5.0, download it here:
http://ftp.us.dell.com/sysman/OM_5.5.0_ManNode_A00.exe
