DRAC5 web interface lost

Hi,

I've some problem with my DRAC5 card.

I'm just configuring my new PowerEdge 2950; so I've installed OpenManage and give a valid IP to DRAC5 card through configuration tab, apply changes and seems all work fine, but if I try to access via web interface nothing happens, the DRAC5 web server doesn't reply. I've tried to plug directly to card and ping works fine, web interface no.

Through BIOS card I've not found some options that could help me....

Here my conf.

Hi Emauele,

I have the same problem. On click the Link 'Launch the DRAC Web Interface' the browser doesn't find the site. With Telnet or SSH I don't have a connection. Could it be, that the services do not work on the DRAC card? Is it possible to change some settings at BIOS?

Greetings
Markus

Hi Markus,

I'm agree with you, seems network services don't run on OS embedded card.....And yes, through BIOS I've looking for some settings to manage this functionalities, but nothing I have found. So, I've called Italian support guy to have a solution, if they could solve my problem through  some suggestions or tricks I'll post here.....

Greetings

Emanuele

...Bad news....the support guy did not solve my problem, the only solution was the substitution of the DRAC card....
