[Dell PE 6950 BIOS] SRAT is being populated even when node interleaving is enabled

Hi,

I am using Dell PE 6950 server with 4 NUMA nodes on (Total : 32 GB Memory and 8 CPUs) . I need the server to run with NUMA node interleaving.

When I  enable the node interleaving in BIOS,  during boot-up of OS(VMware ESXi) , shows alter/errors that SRAT genearted nodes (node 0 and node 1) with overlapping memory.

First of all BIOS should not build the SRAT when node interleave is enabled. Here we are seeing 2 nodes being present in SRAT with overlapping memory (0x000000000 -> 0x0000a0000)

This points to buggy BIOS. BIOS is being updated to latest one and still issue is present.

This happens only on Dell PE 6950 and on other Dell server models SRAT is not being populated when interleaving is enabled.

Do we have any changes in Dell PE 6950 BIOS?

Can any one help me regarding this ?
