Dell PowerEdge R720
Hi.
I need to determine how much IOPs can 4x 300 GB 15K SAS @ RAID 10 running on a R720 server with a PERC H710p with 1 GB NV Cache.
Does the PERC H710p increase or improve overall IOPs performance ?
For the following read and write ratio
38%/62%
and
41% / 59%

Hello,
Unfortunately, we do not have that type of IOPS benchmark documented. But in general, any cache based controller like the H710p will greatly improve read performance. Your specific splits below are heavy on the write side and will not produce good read performance.
There are some web resources which has some free online tools which will allow you to try some different configurations in order for you to optimize what you're trying do.
