Dell PowerEdge T410 Power supply
Can I use the power supply from the SC430 on the T410 in an emergency?

Umimart,
You would not be able to use the power supply from an SC430 to a T410. The voltage on the SC430 is only, at max, 305watts. Where as the power supply for the T410 is 525watts for the non-redundant, and 580watts for the redundant.
I wouldn't suggest using the power supply with the newer server.
What is the existing power supply doing to make you want to replace it?

Hi @wawans,
Unfortunately we do not have any info if it will work, I'm unable to provide a solid answer. We may have to wait for any one from the public to shed some light to your question. I would think it will not work as I've seen some users are stating that the main board power pins aren't the same routing (on a different model though).
Apologies couldn't help much here.

@Roger3803 I'm currious too. Our T410 has redundant power supply, can we replace it with a single good 80+ power supply?
