Difference between iDrac6 Express and Enterprise licensing
Can the idrac6 license be upgraded to get KVM access without installing the enterprise card, which as I understand it only supplies the dedicated ports? (I don't see any place in the idrac6 GUI to enter a license key.)
I know you can upgrade the idrac7 from express to enterprise with a software license, but all the info I can find on the idrac6 says the enterprise hardware is required.

Your iDRAC6 express will need the Enterprise card to enable the functionality. This process was changed in the iDRAC7, where you install the license to enable the funtionality. There is no logic on the Enterprise card, it only enables the functions when its installed.
