Enterprises iDRAC Lincense Expired or Missing
Hello,
Our company has large numbers f Dell servers in production. We have quite a bit with enterprises license expired or missing in some of R220, and now with R430. My situation about these issues as following:
1- Some of R220 out off warranty and also out off contract, which I cannot download the license from Dell Digital Locker.
2- There many R430s that were not register over the years, and now out of warranty, so they were not recorded in the Digital Locker.
At the moments, I cannot find the customer number, or order number.
When I contact Dell support, I was asked to pay upfront $1000 so they can open a case for send the enterprises license for the servers because they are out off warranty.
Is that the enterprises license will be expired when the servers out off warranty?
Hope that I can have some info, and know where or whom to contact to get the proper license so the expired license servers can back to production again.

With regard to your question, the iDrac licenses don't expire. They could have been removed or a motherboard replacement and see that error. In order for us to confirm anything we would need a svc tag, if you like you can private message me a couple of them and I can look into it. Another thing is if you have any servers in warranty with this issue, you could call in on that one and get help with all of them.
