Hi,

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing a recurring fatal error on your Dell R730 server. The error message you provided indicates an issue with a component at bus 0, device 2, function 0. Based on the hardware inventory details you shared, it appears to be related to the "Xeon E7 v3/Xeon E5 v3/Core i7 PCI Express Root Port 2" component manufactured by Intel Corporation.

To troubleshoot this issue, here are a few steps you can take:

Update Firmware and Drivers: Make sure you have the latest firmware and drivers installed for your server, including the BIOS, RAID controller, and other relevant components. Dell provides firmware and driver updates on their support website. Ensure you have the correct versions for your server model.

Check Event Logs: Examine the server's event logs to gather more information about the error. Look for any specific error codes or events that could help pinpoint the cause of the issue. The event logs may provide insights into any underlying hardware or software problems.

Run Hardware Diagnostics: Dell provides diagnostic tools that can help identify hardware issues. Download and run the Dell Server Diagnostics tool or any other relevant diagnostics utility provided by Dell for your server model. These tools can help identify faulty components or configuration problems.

Verify Physical Connections: Ensure that all internal and external cables are securely connected to their respective ports. Check for any loose connections, bent pins, or physical damage that could be causing intermittent issues.

If the issue persists after following the above steps, it's recommended to replace the affected Hardware.

Remember to back up your critical data regularly to avoid any potential data loss in case the issue escalates.

Do you have any further questions?
